Motivation for Simulation

While there are many factors that could lead to performing computer simulations in massive numbers, one of the important factors which may lead us to consider existing in the simulated reality would be the many existential threats that surround from an individual human to entire civilizations. Maybe the possibly multiple, and even infinite layers of absolute/relative mother/daughter realities is the result of such; digging ever deeper and deeper realities.

As one becomes more and more capable of simulating realities highly tending to the limit that the mother realities is or presents, the more one is inclined towards a ‘cheaper’, ‘safer’, and ‘sustainable’ existence. These simulated/daughter realities are relatively cheaper, relatively safer and relatively sustainable/consistent; they are so if seen in the frame or perspective of the mother-reality. The existence in the daughter-reality and as the daughter-reality is more feasible and more sustainable. Besides, we can program or simulate the simulated reality such that we can experience a greater portion of the reality. We can program everything very similar to the mother reality including the future except we change parameters such that the change keeps our existence on that reality more sustainable and even keep us immortal with respect to that reality.

We’d like to experience our reality, in any way or form, as much as we want, wouldn’t we? And not only that, we’d like to be certain that we do. The answer would be to live in greater degree of simulation or approximation of the mother reality and also have excess to the mother reality.

One of the philosopies that inspire such kind of thinking it the Hindu philosophy; in which there are many, and even infinitely many, layers of reality. This is why the idea that is represented by the term ‘Brahman‘ in Hindu philosophy is infinitely incpmprehensible, and why there are many layers of gods and dieties.

The ultimate/absolute mother-reality is Nothing.

Even if we just consider something like ‘infinitely many layers of the mother-daughter realities’, that by definition, we see that every reality is relatively mother or daughter reality; Absolute nowhere to be found. In other words, Absolute being no-Absolute i.e. Absolute being Nothing, Nothing is Absolute.

If we really think, starting from any finite point, it is impossible to attain the infinite layers of realities; it is impossible to dig infinitely deep. So, if we look in the direction of daughter realities from the perspective of any mother reality, there is limit to how deep down the rabbit hole in the increasing degree of ‘daughterness’ on can go and maybe there is absolutism in this. But if we look in the opposite direction, towrds the increasing degree of the ‘motherness’, up the rabbit hole rather that down, we will see there is no limit; the computational power seem to have no limit. Of course the limit is present in the reality that we’re in, but mother realities are obviously, by definition, infinitely superior when it comes to the computational prowess. So, there is no prospect of the Absolute in this direction. In other words, no-Absolute is Absolute, Nothing is Absolute.

Existence is a consistent war between trying to establish consistency and inconsistency every time shattering that inconsistent establishment. Even this is inconsistent, and not, and is, and isn’t, … Even this is not Absolute, and is , and isn’t, … This is Infidefiception

This is State[ment]verse

This is no different for any reality; be it the simulated reality. There is no ultimate ultimate, there is no absolute absolute; it’s all relative – relative reality – relative existence.
