Absolutism – follow up 1

Suddenly a realization hit me today. I’ve become more crankier than ever in my life. I remember, I hated this kind of behavior in adults when I was a kid. Now days I’m an adult and it took me a bit to realize that I myself have been displaying this angry and cranky behavior. I think many people realize this.

This all, at least in my case and in my opinion, might be due to the growing realization of the reality that now is turning out be a lot different than what I as a kid had thought of. From the fantastical worldview to realizing the reality as ‘not so fantastical’, is a long way to come. In addition to that the world reveals itself as much more grimmer with each passing day.

In addition to this, the realization by the civilization – the bigger entity, itself and by the humanity itself, throughout the ages, dawns on the millennials. The realization that generations before us, may have been able to ward off due to the religious ideas that still carried some of the fantastical elements to the adulthood. The generations from here on does not even have that, which had some elements of luxury in the face of crisis that humans could cling to, even though it had been disastrous and full of egotistical lies in some cases.

Even this civilizational, religious structure, that humans had erected to assist them in their survival and to construct something larger and greater, that was more sustainable (had higher degree of immortality comparatively) than a mere short human lifetime, has been shaken and brought down, revealing that this wasn’t the ultimate answer. Though this was a stronger and comparatively sustainable and could provide existence, at least existence as a human species or biological existence or existence of this reality and of this cosmos/universe, this obviously had its own lifetime, its own temporary existence whose limit was revealed by the temporal finite property that is reality. Even this set of ideas couldn’t extend “human” existence or maybe the longevity of existence that this is or carries/inherits the identity of this universe/existence/reality. It has a longer lifetime, but now its limits are revealed.

So, what’s next? What will carry the fundamental code of this universe to longer scales than the lifetime of humans or civilizations or even the universe itself? Universe came to existence, non-existence became existence, this existence came to existence, it then tended to extend its existence like any existence, to make it more sustainable and climb the ladder of immortality. But single existence could not have achieved this, it cannot extend itself beyond itself, so the collective approach of existences/realities took place, moment and moment formed a timeline, units coming together and be able to extend something beyond, though units not itself. This build a universe that extended beyond the unit universes, this universe as the multiverse of unit universes. So many universes of unit universes might have come to existence in their own domains and that exit with respect to themselves and not others. Maybe the universes like unit universes come together to build something even long-lasting and higher in the immortality ladder, with each step, existence moving to attain an absolute immortality, which, however, lies at infinity, at the forever, i.e. which doesn’t exist. But maybe, smaller structures are infinite and the smaller structures can come together infinitely to build larger and larger entities/existences/realities/experiences.

So, what’s next? Technology? AI? but even they die with the “universe”. Maybe there’s a way to overcome and transcend this universe. Are humans or human civilizations/ideas able to lift this existence, the fundamental code of this universe/existence, whatever that is, or maybe of the existence itself, to some more sustainable structure that spans over the limits of civilizations? and which in turn may be able to construct something even sustainable than themselves, which in turn can construct something even further in the ladder of immortality, surpassing even the lifetime of this universe, and so on…..?

In this context of infinities, what’s our individual values? How much worth are we? Our individual existences seems worthless and meaningless. It’s not that we stand on the shoulders of giants, the giants, and may be eventually the infinities (Gods), stand on the shoulders of us, the seemingly worthless creatures/existences.

Whenever I think about religion, meaning, purpose, the faith, Science, civilization, reason, mathematics, clubs, great individual triumphs larger than even societies, all human endeavors, the structures that is built, and the existential angst without them, I see why these are important for us, I see how it helps build a more sustainable “existences” that are much higher up in the immortality ladder than a puny individual human.

I observe myself. Though I don’t believe, and I don’t conform to any human endeavors, I want to. I want to have answer to that “Question-Mark”, and answer that stands the “Question” longer, and specially those answer(s) that can stand the Question-Mark for ever along with this apparent immortal/absolute Question – the “Why-Question”. There seems to be no such answer. The only answer being ‘Nothing’, that Question-Mark itself.

Being “me”, I love it, it’s my answer. But being a human and switching to a “normal” human, however, that angst in the absence of the “answer” that’s preferred by the humans, that angst and crisis remains, and the “emptiness” that me being me that I love (which, however, me like everything, being something is received as something), haunts me as a human.

My mind tells to me search for that which gives meaning, purpose, which tells me to step up to the immortality ladder somehow. Doing so, makes me feel happy, at peace and living and thriving, even at the so called “physical crisis”. “Mental crisis” is more destructive than the “physical crisis”.

Without that structure, even though it maybe purely “mental” construct, that creates purpose and meaning, one drops in steps in the immortality ladder, and structures such as civilizations, societies or something like that, and even individual existences may come down and collapse. (suicides maybe an example of the individual level collapse)

Maybe those things in the human consciousness and ideas and thoughts, and the mental “soft” realities may not be “hard” real or “physically” real, they are real nonetheless. When this reality is shared and becomes a common reality, they form something that transcends the individual units of existences, and is a next step in the ladder to immortality. The “physical” reality maybe the most surreal and convincing and high in information, but maybe the most impermanent/temporary of all, while as one steps down that what we refer to traditionally as “physical”, and step down the amount of information, the immortality/permanence might go up. There’s sort of an uncertainty like relation between the two. As information amount goes up, the permanence decreases, and as the permanence goes up, the information content decreases. These two might be, what we refer in Quantum Physics as, conjugate or complement of each other.
