Measurement

Generally speaking, defining/measuring something, some A, requires/involves defining what A is not, i.e. defining the “Not” of A. If we consider and picture in terms of spaces, measuring some space A, requires its measurement or definition with respect to some “Not A”. To determine that space A, and that obviously means and requires that definition of A as a whole single entity, otherwise without it it’s not A, which can be referred to as the subspace of A. So, to define A, or measure A, requires defining “not A”. In other words, measuring A requires comparison of A with something ‘not A’, as that is what measurement is. So, this naturally requires the definition of some beyond A or ‘not A’ or external to the realm/space of A. Measurement of something can only be done from its exterior (or rather “exterior”), as measurement is a comparison and is a relative thing (or rather a “relative thing”).

Absolutism - follow up 2

I don't think this people have a clue about the so called law of induction. Just because everything we know had a cause, doesn't mean that every other thing has a cause. Coming to such conclusions is just another belief, a belief in the "law of induction". I think he should read Hume: Hume asks on what grounds we come to our beliefs about the unobserved on the basis of inductive inferences? He presents an argument in the form of a dilemma which appears to rule out the possibility of any reasoning from the premises to the conclusion of an inductive inference. Besides, the act of a coin flip may be by some one, but the turning out to be head, or tail for that matter, has no cause, and that's why it is random - without any "thing" making the choice. But a classical coin is not a purely random thing, so the "coin" I'm talking about is the Quantum coin - an example would be spin state of an electron. Either way, belief in god or in things like t...

Absolutism – follow up 1

Suddenly a realization hit me today. I’ve become more crankier than ever in my life. I remember, I hated this kind of behavior in adults when I was a kid. Now days I’m an adult and it took me a bit to realize that I myself have been displaying this angry and cranky behavior. I think many people realize this. This all, at least in my case and in my opinion, might be due to the growing realization of the reality that now is turning out be a lot different than what I as a kid had thought of. From the fantastical worldview to realizing the reality as ‘not so fantastical’, is a long way to come. In addition to that the world reveals itself as much more grimmer with each passing day. In addition to this, the realization by the civilization – the bigger entity, itself and by the humanity itself, throughout the ages, dawns on the millennials. The realization that generations before us, may have been able to ward off due to the religious ideas that still carried some of the fantastical elements...

Absolutism – The search for the Absolute

I often ask myself, what? why?, I can find many hows, so hows are not primary for me. It is the easiest among them. No matter what the answer is, or how many answers there are, it all fades to insignificance. What does not fade in insignificance is the question itself. It stands strong and proud as ever. Trying to find the answer, the search has always been for an answer. The answer that is supposedly nothing but that is expected to be the representation of the Absolute – that which is invariant, immortal, Permanent. But everything, every answer fades and is temporary, goes extinct, vanishes into nothing, into insignificance. The ‘answer’ that was supposed to express and teach immortality, itself fades to non-existence, itself consumed by death so to speak. Never ever came to realization, that the Question that has been staring at me, and that I’ve been staring at, is the one that has never abandoned me. It has always stood there facing the answer that were supposed to destroy it, and,...

INDEFICEPTION INFIDEFICEPTION

Image
This is about NOTHING = SOMETHING/EVERYTHING. It is about INFIDEFICEPTION-INDEFICEPTION. These terms are coined by Dhiresh Kumar Yadav.  The term INDEFICEPTION is  a combination of two terms: Indefinite, Inception. This term is constructed by  combining these two words, where the “IN” part is taken common from these two words and put in front, the uncommon parts of the individual words then follow and combine giving the final term “INDEFICEPTION”. ‘Indefiception’ is layers of indefiniteness upon indefiniteness.  However, the layers of indefiniteness are finite in numbers, ranging from zero (i.e. no layer) to any non-zero finite number of layer(s). Therefore, this term represents or expresses finite layers of indefiniteness. The term IN FI DEFICEPTION is  a combination of three terms: Infinite, Indefinite, Inception. This term is constructed by  combining these three words, where the “IN” part is taken common from these three words and put in front, t...

Why ‘Something’, not ‘Nothing’?

The earliest record of me asking myself “why something rather than nothing”, is in 2012 CE. As far as I remember, as far as my memory is concerned, I’ve asked this question to myself was about 2007-2008 CE and 2008-2009 CE. It was during my grade 7-8, and 8-9 days. In grade 8 we had the first board exam, which was called the district level examination. I’m fond of these years of my life, it brought about a big bang of ideas and speculations and thoughts in me, specially the volcanic exciting ideas, thoughts and knowledge about the universe and existence. It was before or about this time we had installed the ‘very new in market’ Encyclopedia software in our 1995-98 CE bought Pentium II computer, that initially I had no idea about but soon became a universe of wonders and amazement to me. It was my Guru, one which inspired me and showed me the path to infinity, to Physics – the love of my life. So, why is there something rather than nothing? I have found many ways to look at it in ...
