The answer might be, “obviously, yes we exist”. This looks like a lame question. But yet, ‘Existence’ cannot be defined, ‘I’ cannot be defined. This is because Existence, or ‘I’ or ‘self’ or consciousness, is the Basis, and Basis is the one that defines every thing that’s based on it, not the other way around. Basis is the Absolute Basis for, or with respect to, itself. Basis itself defines itself, and Nothing else. The Basis is a brute fact for every thing that it defines, including itself. Basis is defined by Nothing, it can only be defined by Nothing and Nothing alone. This is because Nothing is the Absolute Basis, the Ultimate Basis. If Basis is defined by ‘something else’, then that basis is no more the Basis, it is not the Basis. That ‘something else’ that defines that so called basis, is the Basis then, is the Basis. But, does the undefinability or indefinability of existence mean it does not exist? Existence or ‘self’ is undefinable, does it mean existence is non-existence? Whe...
